How Did We Start?

 

Since I was 13 years old I have always enjoyed working with God's beautiful creation.  I love planting flowers, trees and shrubs.  Throughout my teenage years I worked on my parents yard, for a professional landscaper, and over 5 years in a greenhouse.  From that experience it propelled me to work in the horticulture industry as a livelihood.

 

I attended Alfred State College for Landscape Development.  That course taught me about Botany, Landscape Maintenance, Landscape Design, Landscape Installation, Soils, and Entomology.  After graduation in 1992, I started Gossel Lawn & Landscape.

Throughout the years, I have continued to learn and stay up to date on the landscape industry standards.  We have been a Unilock Authorized Contractor for over 20 years, and a Certified Nursery & Landscape Professional for over 15 years.
